Queen of the Bay by Rusty Allen (eBook)

Her son is gone. But not the way they think.

When a young mother’s preschooler vanishes, she must thwart an act of environmental terror planned by domestic and foreign extremists to bring him home alive.

Cassie Ryder will risk everything to find her missing son, Dawson. Though he is officially believed drowned, Cassie isn’t convinced. Does Dawson’s father, “Bulldog,” know more than he’s revealing? And could his radical, backwoods associates be involved in something far more dangerous?

As Dawson’s disappearance begins to expose a wider threat to Cassie’s seaside town, she befriends oceanographic researcher Patel Newsome. Together, they uncover evidence that anti-government anarchist extremists may be working with foreign operatives to launch a strike in the Delaware Bay.

Could Dawson be their hostage—and trying to communicate with them?

When suspicious deaths put Cassie and Patel on the run, their search leads them toward an approaching merchant vessel and a terrifying possibility: Dawson may be aboard. With an attack threatening the bay, they must race onto the water to stop the extremists and rescue Cassie’s son before it’s too late.
